This weekend I went to Quiznos for a new flatbread salad. I was oddly surprised to find a real metal fork in my bag. Real as in made out of stainless steel. I did like it but also couldn't help from wondering how it could be profitable to the business.

Especially as the price of stainless steel keeps rising...



Okay, plastic is disposable, but stainless steel? It sure felt strange throwing away a disposable stainless steel fork. Wonder what's next... disposable drink glasses?
